This Terms of Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between the Artist and the Client ("You") for the commission of an artwork ("Work").

By purchasing a commission from me ("The artist") you agree to be purchasing my services. If you have a problem with any of the below conditions, they may be discussed with me prior to paying for your commissioned piece.

Please read the terms carefully.
I, The artist (cardboardlemons):
I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.
I will try to complete the commissioned project to the best of my abilities.
I will send you a DM if your commission has been accepted or rejected.
I retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.
I reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio, as well as in publications such as art books.
Listed prices are estimates and can be subject to increase depending on complexity of project and commission, please keep this in mind.

I, The artist, Won’t Draw:
Lewd or Heavily sexualised cultural garment. Revealing clothes are fine (when they're not cultural garments) NSFW of any kind (e.g. sexual poses, expressions etc.)
Heavy mecha.
Loli/Shoto.
Full furry/anthro characters,
(kemonomimi is acceptable).
Realism.
Explicit gore.
Please don’t ask me to copy another artist’s artstyle.

You (the customer/commissioner):
You may be allowed to use the commissioned artwork for personal usage only.
You may upload the commissioned artwork on any website and social channels (e.g. Profile pictures, Banners, etc.)
You may NOT make profits from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD-services, make prints, etc.)
You may NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist's) consent.
You may NOT use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes.
You will NOT be allowed under any circumstances to use the commissioned artwork for NFTs and AI (Artificial Intelligence) software's of any kind.
You agree that you are at least 18 years of age or have a legal guardian agree in order to purchase my service.

Payments:
The client, will have to pay in full or pay a 50% deposit in order for me to start your work.
The client, must pay the other 50% price once I am finished with the sketch.
You will be allowed cancellations. However I wont be giving full refunds. So please make sure you want to buy my service.
You will only be allowed a refund if I, the artist, is unable to complete your work or you cancel before I have started your order. Any losses such as PayPal taxes or conversion rates will not be covered.
If you do not pay the second half of the payment (if 50/50 payment was agreed on), I, the artist, have full rights to discontinue the commission and take the initial 50% deposit.
Final price may be subject to change depending on the projects complexity, please bare this in mind.

Licences:
Personal Licence - Licenced usage of the commissioned artwork for Individual purposes.Promotional Licence (Monetized Content) - Licenced usage of the commissioned artwork for promotional purposes. (e.g. social media platforms to promote an event, for branding, for streaming etc.) This Licence is included in the base price. This Licence does not coverage merchandise, such as sellable prints, please refer to the Commercial Licence underneath. You MAY NOT edit, redistribute or resell this product to third parties. NFT or AI is still strictly prohibited and not allowed under any circumstances and I still retain the copyright to the artwork.Commercial Licence (Commercial Merchandising) - Licenced usage of the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes, such as merchandise (i.e. deskmats, prints cases etc.). The client must pay an additional fee, usually around 150% the base price. Depending on the type of merchandise, the final fee will be discussed in the final quote. By purchasing the Commercial Licence, I retain the right to use the commissioned artwork for self-promotion and portfolio purposes and retain copyrights to the artwork. You may redistribute or resell this product to third parties as merchandise only. NFT or AI is still strictly prohibited and not allowed under any circumstances.

NDA:
If the client wishes to keep the commissioned artwork confidential until they are ready to reveal it, they must inform the artist during their application. The artist will comply to discussed and agreed upon NDAs.

Credit:
The client must credit the artist in any public display or use of the artwork.

By commissioning me, clients acknowledge that they have read and understood the terms and agree to abide by them throughout the commission process.
